The lush Orange wine region in New South Wales will become the 14th in our range of Australian wine region map tea towels, and the third one for the state, joining Hunter Valley and Mudgee.
As with all wine region map tea towels in our range, we've selected about 15 wonderful wineries ranked four stars or more on the James Halliday Wine Companion, with a cellar door open to the public. To help drive and encourage wine tourism, we also feature about 15 accommodation properties from motels to luxury resorts so visitors stay longer (and put more money into the local economy), and about 15 local attractions to appeal to a wider range of interests.
Orange is an approximate 4-hour drive from Sydney, famed for its gourmet Food of Orange District (FO.O.D.) Week, this year occurring from 5-14 April 2024.
Our Orange wine region map tea towel will be available for retail purchase from late January 2024.
Australian Map Gifts helps champion Australian tourism through its range of beautifully watercolour-illustrated tourist map gifts including aprons, greeting ∫cards, postcards, tea towels and tote bags, all lightweight souvenirs to help visitors remember their adventures and plan new destinations.
