    Australians are taking to wine festivals in droves. As of time of writing, of the 28 events scheduled for Pair'd Margaret River Festival from Thursday 14-Sunday 17 November 2024, seven are already booked out.

    Here's some of the festival fun to be had, although don't delay, book now! 

    Thursday 14 November
    3pm-7pm
    Walk the Vine
    McHenry Hohnen and Glenarty Road team up for a paddock-to-plate experience, pairing 6 wines from each estate with southern Margaret River produce. Enjoy slow-cooked lamb, local honey, and other expertly prepared dishes by Glenarty Road’s award-winning kitchen during an interactive vineyard and winery tour at McHenry Hohnen estate. From $115.

    Vin Odyssey
    Challenge your wine-pairing perceptions at Wayfinder’s Dunsborough Cellar Door with a sensory exploration of wine through sight, smell, taste, touch, and sound. Enjoy a 4-course wine and food journey, discovering how music and visuals can influence your experience of Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. Wayfinder collaborates with House of Cards and McHenry Hohnen to showcase regional varietals. Dress code: black to contrast with the kaleidoscopic colours. From $180.

    Cape Mentelle 42nd Annual Cabernet Tasting
    Cape Mentelle's renowned International Cabernet Tasting, running since 1982, features 20 exceptional wines from the 2021 vintage, including top Cabernet labels from around the world. After the blind tasting, guests will enjoy a long lunch by Tiller Dining, crafted with fresh local produce to complement the wines. From $739.

    Wine On the Water
    Experience a sunset canapé cruise with Clairault Streicker on Geographe Bay aboard the whale-watching catamaran Alison Maree. Enjoy substantial sea-inspired canapés by Head Chef Michael Talbott, paired with Clairault Streicker wines during a guided tasting. Departing from the Pro Fisherman Boat Ramp in Quindalup, this exclusive Margaret River experience highlights the region's stunning beauty and fine wines. From $250.

    Michelin-starred, Singapore's JAAN Executive Chef Kirk Westaway teams up with Leeuwin Estate Head Chef Dan Gedge for a 4-course dinner paired with wines from the Leeuwin Estate Art Series. Kirk’s Modern British cuisine and Dan’s locally-inspired dishes create a flavourful, elegant experience. The dinner will be hosted in the Leeuwin Estate Art Gallery, surrounded by the Australian artworks featured on the Art Series wine labels. From $385.

    A South West Wine Shop Quiz Night For The Wine Folk
    Wine trivia lovers should head to a night of wine games at South West Wine Shop, Busselton's newly crowned Gourmet Traveller's Wine Bar of the Year.     Experience an evening of luxury at Amelia Park, starting at the Cellar Door with Louis Roederer Champagne, oysters, and canapés as you watch the sunset over the vineyard.
