Bicheno’s favourite beachside bash is back! On Saturday 15 November 2025 from 11am-6pm, the Bicheno Food & Wine Festival turns this seaside town into a tasting playground where Tasmania’s east coast meets your appetite.
You’ll wander between stalls, sip coastal wines and bold local brews, munch scallops, catch live music, and discover hidden flavour gems you’ll want to brag about all year. $39.50 each.
Gala Estate Vineyard: From White Label to Black Label, discover generations of winemaking passion at one of Tasmania’s oldest family-run vineyards, still turning out wines that feel fresh, fearless, and distinctly East Coast.
Malting Lagoon Brewing: will be running 4 or 5 taps, serving ice cold beers on tap. Plus, their in-house gin and tonic, and espresso martini. Expect cold pours, perhaps limited releases, and coastal-brew vibes.
Valhalla@RainyDayCafe: Ice cream van + tiny café vibes? Yes, please. Enjoy sweet, creamy happiness in a cone—the tastiest, local favourite ice cream scoops at @rainyday_icecreamery van this festival. Perfect for a slow mid-fest recharge between tastings.
Tasmanian Gourmet Seafoods: Love seafoods? Then stop by for this Sea-to-plate affair featuring fish and chips menu, hot and cold seafood tasting plates, and a showcase of premium, wild-caught Tassie fish, scallops, squid, lobster, and other seafood slides.
STASberry: is bringing the perfect sweet dessert! fresh Tasmanian strawberries dipped in premium Belgian chocolate. Choose between smooth milk chocolate (gluten-free) or rich dark chocolate (gluten-free & dairy-free). A favourite for kids and adults alike.
Tutumaz and De Devil: Asian-inspired cuisine meets Tassie’s best produce. Flavours ranging from traditional to modern with a local twist to satisfy your palate.
Bicheno Brewing (Bich): The local microbrewery is serving up cold craft beer to the fest—sessionable pale ales, a cheeky IPA, and possibly a limited seasonal stout. Perfect for the crew who like variety and a cold one between wine stops. Whether you’re into light ales or something heavier, they’re on tap.
Salsa Sol: Take your tastebuds travelling through a variety of exotic, authentic, delicious Latin street food flairs. Tacos, salsas, dishes with South American fire but made with local ingredients and local heart.
Rivulet Wines: Come savour small batch, hand-crafted wines that celebrate Tasmania’s most special places. Rivulet pours wines with a bit of soul and a lot of stories. Expect cool-climate complexity in every glass—and conversations that start with “just a sip” and end an hour later.
Formosa Bites: Indulge in authentic Taiwanese street food with a Tassie touch. Think fresh local seafood, farm produce, and their famous grilled squid — festival food you won’t forget.
Mayfield Estate: Cool-climate wines plus Sophia’s Gin — taste East Coast elegance in every sip, whether it’s sparkling, rosé, or a perfectly mixed cocktail. Find them at this year's festival.
Spring Vale Wines: Expect the expressive, crowd-pleasing wines with a coastal tilt made for the kind of long, sunny festival afternoons you’ll be chasing—grown and produced on the Freycinet Coast, Spring Vale Wines bring the beauty of place to every bottle.
