Over 50 free and ticketed tastings and events are happening across October, the Coonawarra Cabernet Celebrations is definitely the place to discover why Coonawarra is regarded as Australia’s premier Cabernet Sauvignon producing region!
11am–3pm
Parker Estate | Daily Pies & Arancini: Enjoy scrumptious arancini balls or hearty wine-made pies, with a side salad, and a glass of Chardonnay, Shiraz, or Cabernet in hand. Simple, tasty, and the best excuse to “accidentally” linger at Parker every day. From $20.

DiGiorgio Family Wines | Pasta Making & Lunch with the Family: Comfort food meets family table vibes. Roll up your sleeves and learn how to make your own authentic pasta using a treasured DiGiorgio family recipe, then get seated for a long lunch with their Cabernet close by. $180.

Bellwether | Table of Ten Dinner – ‘A Moving Feast’: Join Bellwether’s winemaker and founder, Sue Bell, for an intimate, exclusive dinner. One long table, 10 guests, and a unique menu of local, seasonal produce with wines selected by the winemaker to match the chef's creations. $200.

ZEMA ESTATE | Mrs Zema’s Pizza + live music: A fun day out with friends and family, as Mrs. Zema lovingly prepares her legendary homemade pizzas. Plus, tunes on the lawn, and Coonawarra hospitality at its finest. Free entry.

Hollick Estates | Outdoor Cinema Night – Wicked: Blanket? Check. Popcorn in one hand and a glass of Cab in the other? Double check. Hollick turns the lawn into a starlit cinema for Wicked. Bring the whole family for an evening of musical magic, vineyard air, delicious food and drink, and the kind of night that feels straight out of a movie. $15 (Free for kids under 10).

Koonara Wines | Cabernet or Caber-not? Blind Tasting Challenge: How well do you really know your Cab? Each weekend, Koonara Wines is serving up four mystery reds, but only one is a Koonara Cabernet. Come put your palate to the test in a cheeky blind tasting. $10.

Coonawarra Vignerons | Cabernet Decade[nce] Tasting: Sip your way through 10 years of Cabernet brilliance at the iconic Wynns Coonawarra Estate as 15 winemakers showcase the superior ageing ability of Cabernet Sauvignon. Then linger over a decadent dinner. Proof that patience really does taste better. $50-$160.

BRAND’S LAIRA | Paint + Sip (Simple): Wine in one hand, paintbrush in the other. Take a seat down in Eric’s Cellar, on the deck, or take a picnic blanket to the lawn, and relax and enjoy your wine & cheese whilst thoughtfully painting your masterpiece. $50.
