Now Wholesale Only To Support Retailers

After a lot of reflection and planning, I’ve made the decision to close the retail side of Australian Map Gifts and concentrate fully on our wholesale business.

This wasn’t an easy choice: retail has been a meaningful part of our journey since we began in 2022, and I’m incredibly grateful to every single customer who supported us by purchasing directly. Your enthusiasm for our map gifts, your kind messages, and your photos of our pieces in your homes have meant the world.

So why the change?

1. Focus on Wholesale

Over time, it became clear that trying to serve both retail and wholesale markets was stretching our capacity. By narrowing our focus to wholesale, we can do what we do best — creating high-quality, uniquely Australian map gifts for stockists who are just as passionate about our products as we are. This focus allows us to improve quality, streamline production, and deepen relationships with our stockists.

2. Supporting Local Retailers

As a small business ourselves, we believe in supporting small business! By redirecting our focus to wholesale from direct-to-consumer sales, we’re helping our wonderful retail partners to thrive. When you purchase Australian Map Gifts products from one of our stockists, you’re not just supporting us — you’re supporting a local shop, too.

3. Sustainability and Scalability

Wholesale ordering makes it easier for us to be sustainable. It allows us to plan better, produce more efficiently, and reduce waste. Ultimately, this means better service for our stockists and a stronger future for the brand.

4. Help Support Australian Tourism

You’ll find Australian Map Gifts products in stores around the country. With over 150 retailers in almost every state and 18 destinations, you're sure to be able to help support a local retailer and in the process, help support Australian tourism.

With our focus on supporting Australian tourism, every beautifully illustrated map apron, calendar, greeting card, postcard, print, tea towel or tote bag you purchase for yourself or for others, helps you enjoy reminiscing about that destination, sharing your experiences and maybe even returning to exploring it further. All of this helps people remember their past adventures and plan new experiences - and helps Australian tourism along the way.
